Amber Teething Necklaces |
WHAT IS AMBER AND WHY USE FOR TEETHING? Amber beads are fossils from an ancient forest which existed tens of millions of years ago. Amber is not a stone, but fossilized tree resin. When amber is worn against the skin, your skin's warmth releases tiny amounts of healing oils from the amber which are then absorbed into the bloodstream. This offers a natural, drug-free, pain relief. Amber is also recognized for its anti-inflammatory properties and benefits to the skin (helps diaper rash too!). These amber teething necklaces are made to wear, not to chew! Only natural 100% authentic Baltic Amber, made from fossilized tree resin that is not heated, pressed or reconstituted, is used to make my Amber teething necklaces. Pressed and heated amber reduces its healing properties. I use only the highest quality amber which gives a natural, beautiful look. You will find "debris" in almost every piece of Amber which is what gives it such unique charm. Each Amber bead is individually knotted and the necklace fastens with a screw clasp. The clasp is made of plastic and the screw will break away with pressure. You can leave your necklace in the sun to warm up which can increase the natural analgesic power. Have your child wear the necklace under their shirt, against their bare skin. Wearing the necklace, NOT chewing on the necklace is what provides pain relief. Adults can also benefit from Amber. Early physicians prescribed Amber for headaches, heart problems, arthritis, thyroid, digestive problems and a variety of other ailments. LEGAL DISCLAIMER: WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD. CONTAINS SMALL PIECES! Infants/toddlers/children should be supervised while wearing the jewelry, and the jewelry should be removed from the child's neck when he/she goes to sleep. The string the nuggets are strung on is designed to stretch when a good amount of pressure is applied, and break if necessary. Each piece of amber is individually double-knotted on the strand, therefore if it breaks its likely that only the 1 bead will fall off. The necklace fastens with a screw clasp. Because children should be supervised at all times wearing it, I am not responsible for swallowed beads should the necklace break. If your necklace does break, you can contact me and I will work with you to replace it.
Childrens Sizes: Children’s necklaces are available in 2 sizes: 13”, the most standard and common size, or 15” for older children (currently only available by special order).
